CORRIGENDUM.

The following should be substituted for the footnote on page 5 :— For purposes of payment in the Colony, sterling salaries are at present converted into Hong Kong dollars in accordance with the following system :—

(i) When exchange is below 1s. 6d. :—

Sterling is converted as to one half at the current rate of exchange and as to one half at 1s. 6d. to the dollar.

(ii) When exchange is at or above 1s. 6d., but not above 2s. :—

Sterling is converted at the current rate of exchange.

(iii) When exchange is above 2s. :—

Sterling is converted at the rate of 2s. to the dollar.
